We watch and read all about our favorite movie stars and celebrities, daydream about looking like them and wearing what they wear. And although their perfection is oceans away from us, commoners, there is a way in which we can ressemble them: by wearing the wrist-watch they wear.
Indeed, a great watch has the out of proportion ability to project a strong image. A luxury watch is not just a mere accessory, it is a reflection of the bearer’s personality and social status that goes back a long way, even longer than Breguet’s masterpiece for Marie Antoinette.

What man does not feel a little bit like James Bond, looking sharp and living dangerously, with his Omega Seamaster on his wrist? What woman does not feel as classy and glamorous as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, when wearing her signature Patek Philippe watch?

Unfortunately, these fantastic watches do not come cheap, hence, most of us must conform with looking at them through a window.
Our replica watches give you the same look as the celebrities and movie stars at a very affordable price.
So, enjoy your copy watch!

OK, so by now most of us are familiar with the Omega 007 James Bond Seamaster watch, after so many featured screen-shots, it would be almost impossible to miss it. But what other fine timepieces are featured in other films? Also, it would be great to know what watches our favorite movie stars and celebreties wear on their wrists. I have decided to make an ever changing list of watches featured in movies and worn by celebrities. I have also created hyperlinks to the replica watches we carry of such particular timepieces. Your help with this list will be greatly appreciated.

If you happen to own movies and a DVD-ROM drive and know how to perform screen captures, I would be grateful if you could do it and e-mail me the scan. This would keep my cost of renting the movies down. I would like to thanks in advance anyone who contributes with this list. I am sure together we can make an awesome list.

Flyback watches have no relation to aviation whatsoever, the term “flyback” refers to the hands of the watch that measure elaspsed intervals and will, at one push of a button, “fly-back” to their starting positions and resume their motion from there.
Aviators, however, were very greatful for the invention of this wristwatch. Prior to a flight, they must calculate estimated time intervals – from the airstrip to a distinctive feature in the landscape, and from one successive landmark to the next – and enter this information into a flight plan. Immediately after takeoff, they switch on the chronograph mechanism, and periodically refer to its minute counter to see how long they’ve been flying between each selected landmark. If the elapsed time indicatesthat the aircraft will soon fly over one of them, pilots keep their eyes peeled for it. As the airplane flies over it, they press the flyback button once, returning the elapsed time hands to their starting positions, and begin measuring the time until the next landmark.
Flyback wristwatches make life a lot easier in a cockpit in severals ways. Pilots typically have their hands full with in-flight jobs. A Flyback chronograph eliminates the need for two manually executed tasks and eases a pilot’s workload, while increasing flight safety, by pre-empting two potential sourcers of human error. If he is wearing an ordinary chronograph and doesn’t press hard enough (wether or not his intention is to stop the chronograph, return its hands to zero and restart them), his wristwatch won’t indicate the correct elapsed time.
There are several brands that manufacture flyback watches, at watch-inc.com we offer imitations of panerai, blancpain, breitling depending on availability.

Take Breguet for example, introducing a watch mechanism with silicon components (the highest of the high tech) at the Basel show 2006.
Nicolas G. Hayek, head of Breguet explains that Abraham Louis Breguet could not have used such components in the 18th and 19th centuries because the technology simply did not exist at that time. He always employed the latest, highest technology of his day, just as the company is doing today in order to make the timepieces more attractive in appearance and to enhance their quality still further.
Other companies such as Patek Philippe and Rolex also have carried out silicon development to be used in their watches.
Does silicon really fit with the tradition of watchmaking?
Yes, it is true silicon has many advantages , for example, it is very strong and substantially provides more force, but there is also the drawback of being brittle, to which Mr. Hayek says: “Not in the way we are using it. We have developed a process for eliminating this disadvantage.”

Is this kind of technology appropiate for use in a luxury watch?
