Very few watch companies in the world can pride themselves in being a part of history. Concord is one of those few. Inaugurated in 1908, Concord has been consistently creating watches of great luxury and timeless classical refinement. In 1945, just after World War II, U.S. President Harry Truman presented Generalissimo Joseph Stalin and Prime Minister Winston Churchill with Concord clocks in Berlin. Needless to say both men were impressed by the gesture of the president and by the beauty of the clocks.
Nowadays, Concord has adopted a new philosophy. A philosophy of boldness in design by launching a contemporary collection of daring watches. The new Concord C1 series truly reclaims their historical position in innovation and luxury watchmaking. The Concord series inlcude models such as: Concord C1 Chronograph, Concord C1 Big Date, Concord C1 Tourbillon Gravity, Concord C1 Chronograph Jewelry, Concord C1 Biretrograde, Concord C1 Retrograde, and Concord C1 World Timer.

The success of the new Concord C1 watches has been such that many professional soccer players have rushed to the store to buy theirs just in time for the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Take for instance Javier Pastore, a young professional soccer player from Argentina currently playing for the Italian club Palermo and for the Argentinian national team, who is now the now the proud owner of a Concord C1 Chronograph timepiece.
